Adult Books for YA Readers

08:44

A lot of people tend to fit themselves into categories such as "Young Adult reader" or "New Adult reader" but what if as a reader you decide you'd like to change or branch out?

If you are a fan of YA books but feel that sometimes there is just something missing then why not think about expanding to adult fiction? You may find that next level of character and story development just a little more satisfying. I have chosen a list of 20 books that will help the transition from YA to Adult. I chose these books as they contain elements similar to a lot of YA books.

Here are Goodreads links to the above books:

  1. Just warning you - Madame Tussaud is long, and boring.... I love Michelle Moran - and I loved Cleopatra's Daughter - which is one of her better books... but Madame Tussaud didn't need to be soo long.

  4. I devour all genres and love your list. The Girl with a Pearl Earing is one of my very favourite books. And Fractured is on my bedside locker to read! I think Lindsey Kelk is another author who could bridge the gap. She writes in a similar vein to Sophie Kinsella and her books always make me laugh.
