You absolutely NEED to go to the Shakespeare and Company whilst you're in Paris. It's my favourite book shop. Hemmingway used to work and live their. It's so lovely. :)

Still Life with Bread Crumbs is on my TBR list and I'm waiting on a hold from the library. Wow...Paris! I went there for a week in 2000 and would love to go back. There's an historic bookstore there called Shakespeare and Company that unfortunately I didn't get to. Have a great time and thanks for visiting my blog.

ReplyDeleteBoth The Black Snow and Suffer the Children would interest me, though I do agree with the others that the cover for Suffer the Children is not an easy one to stomach. Enjoy Paris, hope you have a fab time. Even though we live only 3 hours or so away on the High Speed Train, I've never made it there, believe it or not!
